The 2026 election
The vote is over. Thank you.
Oakville voted in the 2026 municipal election, with advance polls in October and election day on Monday 26 October. To everyone who pledged, and everyone who voted: thank you.
Why we asked you to pledge.
Barely one in four Oakville residents voted in 2022. This campaign asked neighbours to decide in advance, and say so, because people who say they’ll vote, vote.
Whoever you voted for, thank you for being one of the people who decided. A town is better run when more of it shows up.
Official results
Election results are published by the Town of Oakville Clerk’s Office, not by this campaign.
When is the next municipal election?
Ontario holds municipal elections every four years. The next one is in October 2030. If you have moved recently, it is worth keeping your voter registration up to date with the Town between now and then.
26 October 2026
Thank you for showing up.
The pledge was the campaign. You kept it.
